Every year, they have two intakes, which are in February and August. Face-to-face studies will be conducted in the Camperdown/Darlington campus of University of Sydney.

Are you an international student who is interested in a Master’s degree in Data Science? Here are the detailed qualifications mandatory for course entry!
To qualify for admission to the program, applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
Possess a three-year Australian bachelor's degree in a related field demonstrating proficiency in computer programming and statistics, with at least a credit average (65 percent) or higher;
Hold a University of Sydney Graduate Diploma in Data Science with a minimum credit average (65 percent) or an equivalent qualification;
Have completed 24 credit points from the University of Sydney Graduate Diploma in Data Science or Graduate Certificate in Data Science, achieving a minimum credit average of 65 percent. This coursework must include 12 credit points from core Data Science units and 12 credit points from Data Science specialist elective units.
Additionally, if you possess a qualification equivalent to an Australian AQF Level 8 degree or higher in a related discipline, you may be eligible for a Reduced Volume of Learning (RVL), potentially decreasing the required coursework by up to 24 credit points or one semester.
If English is not your first language, demonstrating English proficiency is essential and can be done through an approved English language skills test. The test must be taken within two years prior to the start of the course. Here are the required scores for each accepted test:
IELTS: A minimum overall score of 6.5 with no individual band score below 6.0.
TOEFL - IBT: A minimum overall score of 85, with at least 17 in Reading, Listening, and Speaking, and a minimum of 19 in Writing.
Pearson Test of English (PTE): A minimum overall score of 61 with no individual band score below 54.
Meeting these requirements ensures that all students have the necessary English language skills to succeed in their studies.
To ensure your application is considered for admission, please note the following deadlines:
Semester 1: Applications must be submitted by January 6 of the commencing year.
Semester 2: Applications must be submitted by June 3 of the commencing year.
