The most effective way to enrich your vocabulary is to read everything. This will help you to practice on building your reading comprehension skill. Did you know that every section in SAT only allows you to answer each question for not more than 90 seconds? It is a pretty fast-paced test. On top of that, you have to deal with graphics to interpret, lengthy passages to read, and determine which formula to use to solve the lengthy and confusing math word problem. You will need to manage your time to answer each question. To do this SAT strategy, always have a watch with you and do a test-run to know how long it takes for you to answer each question in each section.
There is a strategy called “the two-passes strategy” to help you with time-management. As explained by Khan Academy, it is a method you can use to structure your time strategically while working through a group of questions. It can help to ensure that you don't run out of time before you have had the chance to work on the questions that are easier for you. To do it, you can simply go through each group of questions that are easiest for you. After going through one by one, go back from the beginning and start to choose which problems to tackle in your remaining time.
Taking regular practices or diagnostic tests will help you to get accustomed to the test, both physically and mentally. You will know how it is structured, the questions that you will come across, identify which areas you are already strong at and the areas you need to work on.
