One of the most important things that you should know about the application is the requirements. An international applicant seeking admission to NUSshould have finished high school or be in the process of finishing it by July of the application year, which equates to at least twelve years of general education. Before submitting an online application, please double-check that you have chosen the appropriate qualification and applicant group type.
Application deadlines are determined by your high school diploma. Unless otherwise stated, your whole application, including all required materials, must be received by the Office of Admissions by the application deadline.
For consideration of undergraduate admission, students—including those enrolled in home studies—may submit the following test results:
There are five sections on the ACT: the English, Math, Reading, Science, and Writing tests (Optional). The writing portion is essential for applicants who are submitting their ACT application instead of their SAT. Moreover, the minimum acceptable aggregate score for NUS consideration is 29, and the minimum acceptable score for the writing component is 8.
All ACT components, including the writing section, must be taken in one session. Furthermore, It is not acceptable to combine section scores from various sittings. Also, ACT test results are valid for five years. The admission officers will consider test results from five years prior to the application deadline.
Content-based exams make up the SAT Subject Tests. There should be three topic examinations taken. The two additional subjects are up for option, but Level 2 Mathematics is required. Moreover, the three topic tests that applicants must submit are as follows:
Candidates for law school admission can take any SAT Subject Test combination.
NUS accepts the results of three SAT Subject Tests taken in two sittings over a 12-month period. Also, other score combinations or mixing are not allowed.
