No wonder it is also one of the top places for international students, with around 50,000 foreign students studying there. Specifically for Indonesian students, Singapore has the closest proximity so you don't have to be worried about the long distance with your beloved families. The undergraduate or the bachelor's degrees in Singapore are taking three to four year to complete. For the master's degree, it normally takes a year to complete, and PhD courses usually take three to five years to complete. To enter Singapore universities, the first thing that you need to know is the application process in general. This article will give you 5 basic things you need to know to be admitted at university in Singapore, let's check these out!
Unlike the admission in the US or EU countries, there is no centralized admission portal in Singapore. Your admission has to be made directly through the university of your choice. Since most of the admission process is in an online format, you need to visit each university's admission website and go along with the process. Remember, each university requires different admission, so make sure to always read thoroughly and follow the steps correctly!
Generally, applications to Singaporean universities close around March or April. If you're an international student and aiming to get a scholarship, then you should apply way earlier, in around January to February.

The average bachelor's degree tuition fee at Singapore universities for international students range from $8,200 to $13,300 per academic year. Some programs at Singaporean universities are subsidized by the government and this could apply to international students too! While studying abroad, besides the tuition, you should always consider the living cost such as accommodation, groceries, insurance, and other stuff. Compared to its neighboring countries, Singapore is surely seen as an expensive place to live in. Nevertheless, it is still cheaper than living in the US or UK.
