Working in the UK is something that people would love to dream. When it comes to the economy, everything is unpredictable. Particularly these days, when job security has been on top of everyone's minds. Nevertheless, the job market in the UK has been showing early signs of recovery, with new roles opening up daily. Here are four of the most in-demand jobs in the UK!

Project Manager

Are you the type of person that always takes the lead in a group? If you answered yes, a career in project management might suit you.

As project managers, you will always work in a team. You will be in charge of overseeing the entire project. Planning projects, breaking them down into smaller manageable tasks, allocating tasks to team members, and ensuring the job is completed on schedule, within budget, and within the scope laid out at the start are just a few of the responsibilities.

You can begin a career in project management by having a business-related degree or a degree in computer science.

 

Software developers

Do you have a job in mind that will be future-proof? Working in the UK as a software developers are one of them, in case you didn't know!

Being a software developer means that you will create software to meet users' needs. Other responsibilities might also include designing computer programs and smartphone apps, monitoring the performance of their systems, and making any necessary upgrades to keep everything running smoothly. In short, you're the creative mind behind the apps in your phone!

A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or information systems is commonly required for software developers jobs.

 

Graphic Designer

As the pandemic hits, more and more businesses have gone online. One positive outlook is that demand for graphic designers has skyrocketed. In fact, demand for graphic designers has increased by 44.5 percent in London alone!

So, what exactly is the duty of graphic designers? As a graphic designer, you'll plan and create visual concepts to express ideas in an effective and eye-catching manner to customers, either using computer software or by hand. 

Graphic designers can work in a wide range of environments. Some work for graphic design or advertising agencies, while others work in publishing houses, creating designs for a variety of publications such as newspapers, websites, and books. Nonetheless, many graphic designers are self-employed, meaning that they work for clients independently. 

While a university degree is not essential to becoming a graphic designer, those with relevant degrees will usually be given preference. Work experience, as well as portfolios, could be the main focus for employers. 

Business Analyst

The responsibilities of a business analyst vary depending on the sort of organization or industry, but in general, you will help a company in planning for the future. This involves identifying and understanding the company's existing state, as well as its future requirements, and then developing solutions. A business analyst's work typically involves IT, although it can also include things like staffing and budgeting. 

Although a university degree is not required to work as a business analyst, people who have a business-related degree, such as business, finance, or information technology, will stand out to employers.
